A remarkable blend of traditional Japanese sword craftsmanship and opulent design. Unlike the katana, which is worn edge-up, the tachi is traditionally worn edge-down.
Koshirae of the Black and Gold Tachi
The koshirae, or fittings, of the Black and Gold Tachi are crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The tsuba (guard) features intricate dragon motifs in gleaming gold, symbolizing power and protection.
